Project Description

CMC Markets are a UK based financial dealer that offer online trading in spread betting. CMC’s HQ is based in London with hubs in Sydney and Singapore. They also have a further 11 offices internationally.

CMC were building a new Datacentre into a purpose-built facility in Welwyn Garden City. After a competitive tendering process, Able were awarded the contract.

To maximize use of the space, cabling was run both underfloor and overhead.

The fibre links included a collection of full 40G/100G compliant MTP/MPO links, required for CMC’s new generation of high speed servers and network equipment.
