As part of its London re- organisation, Commerzbank built a new 80 cabinet Data Centre at its Gresham Street, London HQ.

As the incumbent infrastructure support organisation, Able was contracted to both design and build a new leading edge structured cabling system.

Entirely built from Siemon products, this included the following features:

• Two Patch Frames, each consisting of 13 x 45u Siemon open frames.
• 10,000 Cat6a Links.
• 3,500 x Duplex Fibre OM4 Links.

• 200 x 12-Core MTP Links to support 40Gbit network connectivity.
• Intelligent patch panels for copper and fibre, integrated into the site iTRACS system.
• Overhead Panduit FibreRunner containment system.

This entire project was completed inside two months.

Post installation, Able managed migration of Commerzbank’s equipment into the new Data Centre.

iTRACS was used throughout to manage the process and ensure completely accurate connectivity.
